(29 March 2002, updated 10 November 2002)

The most transforming age-old secret on this Earth is: We are whole, perfect and complete - exactly the way we are. And y-our world create/d around us is the perfect mirror of y-our present inner state of consciousness. Nothing needs to be changed.

However, as this reality is at times inconceivable, it is a good idea to establish a support structure in our immediate surroundings: family, friends, colleagues, contacts, associates. In other words, people who are enrolled to remind each other constantly of y-our perfection.
Because this seems not as easy as it sounds, i came across
Landmark Education courses which are designed exactly for that. They are offered worldwide, and hundreds of thousands followed an introduction presentation. Introductions are presented with the opportunity to sign up for the Landmark Forum, a three-day long essential basics with a concluding evening session. In the initial price, ten evening sessions to anchor the breakthroughs and insights in the daily life and reality are included. If you desire so, more advanced courses are available then.
- In the weekend of 23/24 March, i graduated in CPP Communication Performance and Power, which allows then to take part in a TMLP,
Team Management and Leadership program. And really, this was what i wanted right away (but i have to confirm that other aspects needed to be addressed and become familiar first). This allows to establish with team support the structures i mentioned before. It allows to realize many of the planetwork.org projects in a prominent way, and to present / support other ideas and concepts powerfully as well. So watch out!

My initial incentive to invest the time and energy for the rigorous one-year programme TMLP was to take on bigger projects. The one i am working on now concerns environmental-friendly (-ier) airports. With a team we spread the word of an ingenius but convincingly simple design by the American flight engineer and inventor Jim Starry. See http://www.recyclus.com.

Parallel to this endeavour, there are the collective elements of the program. The 25 participants of the TMLP Amsterdam have taken on to let thrive the (availability of) the Communication program in our region. In this, we set ourselves specific targets each quarter, and invent the structures to manage this on an ongoing base. It allows to check daily how effective we are in fulfilling the games we created. In this way we have challenged ourselves to be present how we act individually, as well as in a group. The Landmark technique allows to discern any loss of power, and to restore the integrity even when it feels most uneasy. Transformation (or as in the first lines stated, the ongoing attempt to undermine the perfection of ourselves) appears to be uncomfortable and confronting. It is in these moments when breakthroughs are most possible.

(to be continued)

http://www.holon.ch is a network initiated by a Swiss friend and former co-worker Wofgang Jaeger. An impressive project soundly based on holistic principles. Affinity with the CulturalCreatives movement. Rapidly growing Network, presently in all parts of Switzerland (German, French, Italian), with contact points in Germany, France, Italy, Austria, (and soon in the Netherlands? - i am considering).

While browsing the Internet to find Gregg Wright's planned Millennium Holomorph, another similar idea, the Millennium Photo project catched my attention. It was developed as a 'community-enterprise', as well as a commercial project. Everyone could take part, and at the same time benefit from it. Some 10'000 photographers from all over the world took pictures between noon of the last day of the last Millennium and noon first day of the Third Millennium. These pictures were sent and then assigned to the Millennium Photo Project bureau. An international panel chose 300 photos for publication in a high-quality 'coffee-table book, "Dawn of the 21st Century". It became internationally published, and is also sold through their website. Every selected participant will be a stakeholder in the Millennium Photo Enterprises Ltd. and will eventually get royalties from the book and other planned projects plus commercial use of the photos.

A second selection with 2'000 entries will be part of a so-called 'time capsule'. It pleases me that my entry (a collage with a countdown-clock in Amsterdam) will be in it.

The text reads: Seconden tot het jaar 2000: 2000 - 0 [Seconds to the year 2000: 2000 - 0]

Despite huge difficulties, this project has been successfully carried out. The world has been graced with a remarkable time document, and an Internet project that will stand the time (still in preparation).
The book was published on 3rd November 2000. See above for the smashing cover.
The price is US$ 40,- which makes it a
unique gift for a special occasion for someone dear.

top UN Millennium Summit / STATE OF THE WORLD FORUM (New York, 4-10 September 2000)

Having taken part in the UN Millennium Forum (see below) it seemed logical to be around when 'the real thing' namely the UN Millennium Summit, took place. see http://www.un.org/millennium/index.html This was the event prepared for statespersons, in the end 159 showed up, in such, the biggest gathering ever. They contributed their visions regarding the role of the United Nations in the third Millennium, or at least that was Kofi Annan's propopsal. A few countries took the challenge and presented formidable speeches. The most noteable was Cuba with Fidel Castro, see all at http://www.un.org/millennium/webcast/indexe.htm

- Evidenced in the speakers and contributor's list (see www.worldforum.org ), the State of the World Forum gathered a select group who could afford the steep price of $ 5000 for the marvellous event at the Hilton in New York, headed by the former Prime minister of the then USSR mr Gorbatsjev and the former Dutch Prime minister and recently appointed High Commissioner of Refugees UNHCR Ruud Lubbers. Not only the Happy Few were there though, an other part of the spectrum was present as well in this venue. The option i could take advantage of (via once more my connection to the Millennium Peoples Assembly Network / Global Peoples Assembly) was the NGO fee of $ 250 for the conference only (without meals and hotelaccomodation). - Besides the personal sharing, there were several special highlights in the first five days i participated. One of them: a BBC World broadcast with some illustrous speakers interviewed by Tim Sebastian. I was part of the public audience seated close to the speakers debating on the topic: 'A Post-Seattle look at Globalization'. Unexpectedly the one person i was placed behind was contributing quite often, and accidentally i was quite visible almost all the time when he spoke. No need to resist this opportunity, i thought. The broadcast occured the following Saturday (9th September 2000) in about 179 countries, three times repeated...
(a picture of several years ago, with much longer hair then)

Seen in review, one of the benefits was to get to know first-hand many new initiatives from all over the world. Some examples: To aid the spread of digital technology to the southern hemisphere, Internet kiosks will be placed at strategic sites like hospitals, libraries, community centers, etc. Intermediate technology and renewable energy solutions are combined when needed with satellites, and other highly advanced techniques, see http://www.worldspace.com
Dr. Rashmi Mayur, a honorable speaker at the State of the World Forum which i earlier met at the MPAN/GPA meetings was preparing the launch of 25 Info kiosks (they include
Sybersay's highly sophisticated speech recognizing microphones) for rural areas in India.

A devastating earthquake on 26 January 2001 in the vicinity of Ahmedabad, coincidentally happened during the most sacred moments of Maha Kumbh Mela (the once in 12 years spiritual festival, this time even more unique as a once in 144 years celebration!). Rashmi Mayur's 'International Institute for Sustainable Future' started a project based on above mentioned concept of info-kiosks and eco-villages. He set the goal to find funds equivalent to US$ 100.000 for sound reconstruction. Rashmi Mayur was meant to be the host for next year's GPA (Global Peoples Assembly) world meeting, now in the process of re-scheduling - my suggestion was to hold it in Auroville. See http://www.ourvoices.org
Meanwhile, Rashmi unfortunately has died.

Furthermore, i came across a leaflet of Hewlett Packard (HP) detailling a comparable Internet kiosk project, see http://www.hp.com/e-inclusion/

Yermentay Sultanmurat of Kazakhstan who i met first in Klamath Falls two years ago and several times since, was present again. He distributed his newest booklet, 'Transformation of the World' where he develops a new political structure using a so-called 'Dhakabic' (self-government of wise folks) system with Kondakhab (Constitution of wise popular government).

An esteemed new personal contact was Mr R.K. Janmeja Singh Ph.D. with his impressive initiative 'Portia Bell Hume Behavioral Health and Training Center' in Concord, Pittsburg and Fremont CA. Starting from scratch, it became soundly based in society, and has developed with clear vision into a multi-million Dollar service for people of all colors. (Website to be announced.)

- UN New York

The United Nations have been critizised since their establishment. Emerging from the League of Nations (which were conceptualized at the first Hague Peace Conferences 1899 and 1907 already a hundred years ago !), a new attempt was made in 1945 to found a supranational body to facilitate ways to better interact between countries - the United Nations.

To shape the
United Nations for the 21st Century, the possible next step, boldly advocated by the present Secretary-General mr Kofi Annan, was to involve civil society, peoples representatives and NGO's (Non-Governmental Organizations) ever more,

The Millennium Forum http://www.un.org/millennium/forum.htm was a preparatory event, located at the UN headquarters. Its outcome has been presented to the Millennium Summit (see section above), the 55th General assembly that opened on 5th September. It turned out to be the largest gathering of 159 Heads of State ever held in the world!

It was my special pleasure to have taken part of the Millennium Forum. I connected once again, as at the Hague Appeal for Peace, first with the Millennium Peoples Assembly Network MPAN (http://www.ourvoices.org) and old and new friends of the Global Peoples Assembly GPA.

The opening and the closing ceremony of the Millennium Forum took place in the UN 'General Assembly Hall', never before accessible for such a large group of 'civil society'. 1.350 delegates of reportedly 120 nations worked on six themes culminating on Friday in a Declaration which was included in the 'Millennium Summit' papers. The attempt to present the document as 'unanimously accepted' was strictly seen not right. It would have been better to characterize it as a Declaration of 'civil society' with contributions of all the participating NGO's, supplemented with statements received via the website and other media (a job well-done indeed).

The abundance of lectures and presentations was sometimes a bit 'too much'. But like at the 'Hague Appeal for Peace' the participants were a unique source for new contacts. Networking had also to be initiated by myself. Many folders and visitcards await now a follow-up.

The most extraordinary person i met was John 'the bank-engineer' Turmel, see now in the separate section New Economy

As a representant of the Global's Peoples Assembly Netherlands (GPA-NL to be inaugurated later?) i could meet with a group of fascinating people. I recall Rob Wheeler, Sue Zipp, Harry Learner, Joanie Mizrack, Howard Cort, Rudolf Schneider, David Lionel, Ellen Brogren, Cristina Figari, Hanna Newcombe, Dorothea Sheasby, Andy Strauss, Troy Davis, plus a few others i forgot. My contact with Troy was particularly intensive. I gradually understood his attempt to redefine the word 'democracy' based on several conditions. With this focus he gains large support in circles that are otherwise not very open to new thinking.

Later that week i came across the father of Troy, 'World Citizen' founder Garry Davis. - In the Netherlands, a membership of the WFBN (World Federalists Movement Netherlands) includes for the moment a World Citizens membership, too.

The Millennium Forum really made a difference. Judge for yourself. The complete opening speech of more than two hours is available as a RealPlayer document, along with the closing and some morning sessions directly at
http://www.un.org/millennium/forum.htm . The 'Declaration' was referred to prominently in all the publications for the gathering of heads of states, as well as in the opening speech and in addresses at the Millennium Summit.

...

Culturally, music and dances from many different countries were staged, all of an amazing quality. My personal favorite was a group of the Philippines. These were streetchildren, and young people who mostly are blind, deaf, mutilated or otherwise handicapped. With enormous vigour and remarkable professionality, they staged a clever and gripping performance. A feast for eyes and ears, heartwarming and stirring. Unity in diversity at its best.

During the week, i got in contact with representants of ECOSOC and similar UN-organizations. In the UN, research for new universal symbols is on the way if i understood it well. My proposals (as presented via this site, see for instance the Planetwork logo explained here) got some attention. My hope is that this leads to a cooperation in the near future. A thrilling perspective, especially if the Unity -TV-project as presented here will be endorsed, promoted, supported by the UN.

My host for the stay in New York was Bruno Jakob, the artist who is known for his Invisible Paintings. What at first sight seems like a joke, has a very serious background. I try to shed some light in a following update. A good friend of him, another Swiss artist in New York, Hans Witschi, has developed a superb way of filing and organizing. His presentations are based on an extremely good understanding and use of the HTML language. He presents a substantial part of his life work on a few CD's. An early website of him is http://www.handbook.org

... Bruno's most recent exhibition in New York then was in the St. John the Divine church at Amsterdam Ave, Manhattan. A series of seven paintings / papers were affixed on a brightly yellow wall of 8' x 48' (about 3 x 16 m) next to the pulpit. It magically drew the attention even in the world's biggest gothic church.

top Mind-expanding Millennium UFO Congress:

On 26th March 2000, i had the opportunity to experience three remarkble lecturers at the occasion of a Millennium UFO congress in Amsterdam. One was the most inspiring sumerologist, Zecharia Sitchin (author of many books, the best-known is 'The 12th Planet'). He held a talk with 80 slides, in which he shed light on the main questions of mankind's origin. Brilliantly analyzed, presented with wit and a joy to experience, truly the best of the very few interpreters of the Sumerian Clay tablets. Only a few days later, a meeting with the Pope in the Vatican in Rome was scheduled! - Unfortunately, beginning of July, i received an e-mail that his wife was very sick. I wish her and him strength, and a speedy recovery. May they be blessed to fully enjoy the blossoming of the unique seed thoughts they have contributed to mankind.
- Jaime Maussan excelled with abundant material, to document the numerous UFO activities in Mexico City, the biggest city on Earth. He showed a plethora of newspaper articles, reports, photos and some video footage. As an acclaimed professional journalist, he guarantees the seriousness of the presented material. - In July 2000, the political situation in Mexico has changed for the first time since decades. Another hopeful sign for an emerging consciousness?
Nuclear physicist Stanton Friedman then shared his extensive knowledge of the technical implications, as well as his investigations in cover-up and secrecy of governments regarding UFOs. - A good friend, Guido Hoogenboom (see
http://www.sitchin.tv) did an enlightening interview in English with all three together for TV Amsterdam, it is available on video now worldwide. Thank you Eugene for organizing this congress! May the finances pour in abundantly to gratify you for your most honorable effort.

Erich von Däniken (60 million books sold, translated in 32 languages!) has opened in May 2003 an exciting new venue close to the place where he lives now, see http://www.mysterypark.ch and http://www.daniken.com )

Unexpectedly of highest actuality: Disclosure Report, 9th May 2001, was presented in Washington DC. See special page

A booklet about the f/actual situation on Nuclear weapons with special attention for the Dutch situation is printed, and is available now via several Dutch Peace-related groups. It was a challenge to partake in it - i enjoyed to work out the basic concept, to do the graphic design, and to re-search the photos and illustrations.- It accounts of some promising new actions to finally rid humanity of this biggest danger of its survival still. The booklet includes full texts or summaries of many Treaties. Finding these Treaties should have been easy via Internet. It was not, for that reason i will put many of the texts and summaries on this website. The start is made with NPT, START-II, CTBT, Abolition 2000, and two astounding statements of Generals (ret.) and Politicians. Take a little time to read some of it, you will find it here.

We celebrated a most amazing moment. According to (for instance) Sepp Rothwangl http://www.calendersign.com and Ken Kalb (http://www.lightshift.com), wise persons of the past knew exactly the uniqueness of events occuring around 2000 (total Solar Eclipse last 11th August, and the breathtaking planetary constellation on 3rd to 5th May 2000). Sepp's research brought to light, that this might well be the reason for the specific timeframe of our Christian calendar. - A highly interesting analysis indeed. (Website under reconstruction at this moment - mid 2001).

Not accidentally, we present earth inhabitants experienced this moment together. Therefore, we had an opportunity to make it a rememberable one for times to come. -
To complement the worldwide meditations that were planned, we created a memorable event locally.
Fred Stern, the Rainbow Maker i met first in Klamath Falls (Oregon) for the celebration of the 500th day before the Millennium (18th August 1998) was begin of April 2000 performing rainbows at the Trinity Site (New Mexico, USA) where the first Nuclear bomb was ignited. Shortly after that, real fires devastated part of the place! He arrived in Amsterdam on 30th April (alas, he missed Queen's Day which was this year at 29th April). He performed a series of rainbows we helped to organize, the first ones on 4th May (Memorial Day) and 5th May (Bevrijdingsdag, Liberation Day). A
Dutch page of this website has more information on this. These rainbows were part of the official (local) celebration for the National Liberation Day. - And this was just the beginning. More events followed!

Contrary to the general information, the Millennium bug hit hard in parts of Europe - only it was not caused by malfunctioning computers! End of December 1999, severe weather conditions caused exactly the scenario of total isolation, no electricity and the need of self-organizing for one third (!) of France, and less grave in closeby countries. - Like Canada a few years ago, parts of the USA recently, as well as South America, China, Africa - well, the whole world is still prone to nature's disasters. Some of them are caused by humanity's neglect, like the rapidly speeding draught through deforestation.

Or like the devastating poisoned rivers in Romania, this week (14th February 2000) reported in the News. An Australian gold- mine wastewater basin leaked Cyanide, and the fish in the local river all died. This river streams to the Danube. Hungary and Yugoslavia are hit as well. The environmental catastrophy at hand is compared already to the Chernobyl disaster in the Seventies.

More info: Romania admits responsibility for spill

http://www.planetark.org/dailynewsstory.cfm?newsid=5717

And today 19th February 2000, a report on the death of hundreds of dolphins was televised in the Dutch News. They washed ashore at the French westcoast, trapped in gigantic nets of fish trailers. It is a mystery why so many dolphins could have lost their orientation. I am suspicious of the US Navy having done some of their announced deadly-dangerous experiments with the low-frequency sonars.

See this page below, with the still happily jumping dolphins...

High time to carefully consider priorities for our planet. We probably can not stand much more of these incidents if we as humanity (including animals, plants, minerals, etc.) want to secure a decent and enjoyable life also for our children's children.

top One second of Peace.

No matter how busy you are, you will find a second to tune into peace. Yes, it is challenging. For ages we learned to criticize, to fight, to judge, to feel guilty then because of that. We never could live up to the expectations the church, the kings, the landlords, the superiors, the higher-ranked posed on us. This has now changed into the rat-race of the highly-industialized societies, challenging each one individually to decide how to limit him/herself by making choices (sounds familiar with multi-millions pages to choose from on Internet...).

Our fully free decision to delve for a moment into the spirit of peace and unity will have grave consequences. It is the ultimate frontier opening a vast unknown field of personal research and experience. No-one else can do it for you/me. It transcends time and space. Although seemingly insignificant, it is the foundation of our promised destiny.

Are you ready to contribute to the consciousness-shift?

A second of Peace is of course just a small beginning.

At he cusp of the new Millennium, we could have taken notice of:

- Just a minute of Peace December 31st, 23:59 www.jamop.com
- seven minutes of Peace Dec 31st, 23:53-0:00
- a
'Day in Peace January 1st' see www.oneday.net - (NEW since 2005 celebrated as UN Day of Peace each 21 September) sanctioned by Bill Clinton in US Congress Resolution 138 since January 1st 2001 as a national Day of Peace, with Linda Grover's 'Millennium Meal' also here in Amsterdam

Urgent call to stop dangerous low frequency sonar experiments LFAS who could be fatal for whales, dolphins, and... divers! Was the reported (Dutch TV on 19th February 2000) mass beaching of some 300 dolphins at the French westcoast caused by such experiments?

ACTUAL Newest information in Summer 2000 gave more hope. The US Navy seemed to have stopped (postponed??) the devastive tests for the moment.

    From: Reed Behrens <synergy2100@hotmail.com>

    • Dear Cetacean Ambassador Network,

      THE SITUATION
THE US NAVY IS PLANNING ANOTHER SONIC 'EXPERIMENT' INTO THE OCEANS, A BILLION TIMES LOUDER THAN PREVIOUS SOUND DETONATIONS, IN NOVEMBER 1999, WHICH WILL HAVE UNKNOWN, BUT PREDICTABLY DELETERIOUS EFFECTS ON CETACEANS WORLDWIDE.

      THE STRATEGY
You are requested to copy this letter to the editor and BCC email it to major newspapers with your name, address and phone number above the Cetacean Ambassador Network line at the bottom.
      THE OBJECTIVE
To halt the Navy SURTASS LFA sound detonation and raise public awareness about the plight of cetaceans.
THE POSSIBLE OUTCOME OF THIS ACTION
If 100 of us respond by emailing this letter it's possible that millions of readers and decision makers could be alerted to this dangerous, disrespectful and inhuman situation our Navy is implementing on cetaceans.

Thank you for your assistance in this important matter.

At this moment, i spend a considerable amount of my time on the Internet. If it did not exist, it sure would have to be invented. Nevertheless: our brains are much more perfect computers than we ever can construct, and the Akashic records are a by far superior Internet (see Net1: The Internet is 14'000 years old). - We obviously still need the tangible material representations to remember that.

    top The logo of Planetwork.org

In 1983 i experimented with the name PLANETWORK (my short form then for 'Planetary Artists Network - for the World we Choose', a project i was asked to assist but that never came into existence). I searched ever since extensively for a visual symbol to accompany it (i am a professional graphic designer / calligrapher). After a long time of intensive investigation i found a striking picture in a Dover book called: 'Art Forms in Nature'. The German biologist and philosopher Ernst Haeckel (1834-1919) made careful drawings of life forms he studied. It started out in his twenties, when he noticed that symmetry existed in nature. He got fascinated and began to travel all over the world to document his findings. His superb designs were first published one hundred years ago, serialized as ten times ten plates in 1899-1904! One particular star-coral fitted perfectly the message i intended. It is a brain coral which i redesigned to enhance the suggestion of Planet Earth, etc.

This logo can be 'envisioned' in several dimensions.
1: a catchy word (Planetwork) and a pleasant design.
2: we are all one (Gaia hypothesis).
3: Our mind equals our world (we create our own realities).
    4: Microcosmos - macrocosmos.
    5. Internet, worldwide networks.
    6. Noosphere (as coined by the mystic Pierre Teilhard de Chardin)
    7. Akashic records, as stated in
    Net1
    8. project for a new
    tv-network on unity consciousness,
    9. etc.
    On the
Index page, the logo has now been enhanced with additional elements.
